Our Mission
Our Mission
The mission of SAVE LYON-MARTIN is to ensure the long-term survival of LYON-MARTIN COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES and the community it serves, while maintaining the core values of the clinic’s mission.

Increase capacity by an additional 1,000 people per year, enhancing access to gender-affirming primary care, OB/GYN care, abortion, specialty care, and mental health services including therapy, psychiatry, crisis intervention, and peer care coordination.

Increase the number of queer and trans -focused community health jobs and reclaim a historic building in the Lesbian Corridor and Native American Cultural District to serve as a hub of community care and connection while preventing further gentrification.

Establish a drop-in community space filled with natural light, plants, and books, with access to tea/coffee, meals, groceries, laundry, showers, and wellness programs such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, physical therapy and nutrition support.
